You know your children are growing up when you
have to wake them up on Christmas morning.

You know your children are growing up when they
look like this after they've been awakened.

And here is an extra bonus of our Christmas Elf
reading the Christmas story before gift opening.

Ha! That was me this year. I didn't set my alarm on Christmas Eve, even though I was out till 1 a.m. because I was just going to "think 6 hours". I had to get up early because, of course, the presents were not yet wrapped. Wouldn't you know, my mental alarm clock didn't work, as I realized when I received not one, but two, phone calls from my parents house within 30 seconds of each other informing me that I was late. Aside from reminding me of the line "Did you get the memo about the TPS reports?", it eliminated my reputation as the one sibling in the family who is always on time and awake for Christmas morning. Oh, well...

Too funny!
But you know, if it wasn't for the fact that I was up at all hours getting things ready for the little ones, I would be raring to get up and open gifts even as an adult! I still get excited about Christmas morning...except for this year I was just very, very sleep-deprived! ;)

Love the picture of your little girls reading the Christmas story!

Paul, our human nature is just a tad too near the surface isn't it?

Tammy, I know, I was anxious to get the gifts going, that's why I finally woke them up!

Steve and Ruth, yep, that he is.

I think that is the best picture of Bill I have ever seen.
