This is by far the best family portrait we've ever
had taken. And, no, it is not staged...it is a real
life moment.

That's funny. So who took the picture?

Kent's aunt took the picture. We were playing a turkey game on Thanksgiving Day and were divided into teams by families. We didn't win, but we did have fun!

I love love love this picture. It just describes everyone beautifully, by what they are doing or the faces they're making...

You have a wonderful brood.

I clicked to enlarge the photo, and noticed an ice skate hanging on the wall... and a picture of a skater. Great fun! I skated as a child in Canada.

e-mom, Yes, my inlaws have their basement decorated with old fashioned sporting equipment. I loved ice skating as a child and teen, unfortunately I haven't been able to go in years. Well, if it gets cold enough I can slide on my ponds, and that is fun too!

I had to come visit your blog when you said your mama likes American Idol. You & I also share something in common, our height, I'm 5'8 or 5'9, having shrunk from 5'11 when I was younger, because of a curvature of the spine. My best friend who is a year older than Tammy got me started watching American Idol a couple of years ago & we compare notes. She & I will be watching tonight's program, which is the first one this year.
